The Centurion
And Jesus marveled at the faith of the Centurion and said
“I have not seen this kind of faith anywhere”
Luke 7:9
The only hero of the faith that caused Jesus to marvel.
Professional
The Centurion had been promoted through the ranks of the largest army that has ever ruled the world.
Cross-Cultural
Even though the Jews considered Rome to be an invading regime, the Centurion won the respect and support of this distinctly different people group.
Compassionate
When the Centurion’s servant became ill, his mission became the servant’s health. He took bold initiative to serve his servant.
Humble
The Centurion knew what it meant to be under authority and wield his delegated authority to accomplish a bigger mission than his own.
Faithful
The Centurion knew the authority and power of Jesus’ words. The Author and Perfecter of our faith marveled at the faith of Centurion.
The Centurion Project
We are not just looking for a few good men…
we are sending out a multitude
of “Semper Fidelis” centurions.
We are launching the Centurion Project at Fort Liberty in North Carolina. Envision 100 churches around Fort Liberty working together to support and equip military leaders to achieve their mission while at the same time advancing the Great Commission. Through individualized coaching and seminars, we will network with churches to share resources, tools, and intel to produce consummate professionals who lead their families and their teams with faithfulness and intentionality.
We are on a mission for the church.
We don’t expect the church to be on mission for us.
Our Expertise
We’re a group of pastors and retirees who love the military and serve the King of Kings. Our team has over 100 years of combined pastoral experience in gospel-centered, life-giving churches that plant churches.
We are the military engagement of EVERYETHNĒ
EVERYETHNĒ
… is an initiative of ABWE North America aimed at partnering with local churches to identify and own the lostness of their culturally, socially, and religiously diverse communities, so that every man, woman, and child has repeated opportunities to hear, see, and respond to the Gospel.
