What is ACT?

ACT Suicide Intervention is a daylong seminar taught by a master trainer. The concepts taught in Warrior 180 Foundation’s ACT Suicide Intervention Training have life applications that can become a second nature to helping those you come in contact with. The full day of training guides participants thru a hands on and interactive application process giving them an understanding and ownership to apply these lifesaving skills. ACT training is not a lecture series but rather offers individual participation, scenarios and video to keep everyone involved. ACT Training Addresses:

Regional Weekend Backpacking Trip

12.2 miles with 2,598 ft elevation gain. Trails leading to views of Gray’s Arch, Hanson’s point and more. A fun and challenging way to get veterans and their families together and conquer some trails! 
-Friday: Meet us at the Martin’s Fork Parking Area. A few mile hike into our first camping spot to hang out for the evening.
-Saturday: We’re going to wake to an amazing sunrise spot, hike to Gray’s Arch, have lunch at Hanson’s Point, and then hike to our next campsite.
-Sunday: A couple mile hike back out after breakfast.

National Park Backpacking Trip

This multi-day backpacking trip into the Grand Canyon provides a unique opportunity to push physical and mental limits, rediscover strengths, and shed light on areas that need growth or renewal.

23.8 mile trek through the Grand Canyon giving opportunities to dig into our mental resilience and physical capabilities. 
-Friday: Arrive at GC South Rim
-Saturday: Hike to Ooh-Aah point for lunch.  Site-seeing around Grand Canyon.
-Sunday: Bus tours and site-seeing. Gear rental/optional shopping.
-Monday: Begin trek at Hermit’s Rest Trailhead. Camp at Monument Creek Campsite.
-Tuesday: Hike out of Canyon via Bright Angel Trail. Celebration dinner at campground.
-Wednesday: Flights
